Ivory House | Luxury Residential Interior Design Project

Ivory House is a refined classical residence conceived entirely in a soft cream and ivory palette. The interior design language is elevated yet restrained, offering a contemporary interpretation of English neoclassical architecture that places proportion, light, and material integrity above ornament or excess. Every space has been considered as part of a single, continuous composition, creating a home that feels both formal and deeply livable.

The principal living room sets the tone for the entire house. Finely profiled cornices, fluted pilasters, and balanced architectural mouldings establish a sense of classical order, while soft natural light moves gently across pale surfaces throughout the day. Tall windows are dressed in layered sheers and heavier drapery that filter the light without blocking it. The furniture is deliberately understated: deep upholstered sofas and armchairs in fine linen and bouclé, a substantial travertine coffee table, and carefully chosen artwork that introduces quiet tonal contrast. Layered natural-fibre rugs, soft throws, and a few personal objects ensure the room never feels staged. The overall atmosphere is calm, formal, and inviting in equal measure.

The kitchen continues the same architectural language with cream panelled cabinetry, refined detailing, and soft gold hardware. A generous central island in pale travertine forms the heart of the space and provides generous seating for everyday life. Open shelving displays curated ceramics alongside everyday pieces, while a professional range sits beneath a custom hood of matching classical character. Cookbooks left open, a bowl of fruit, folded linen towels, and small personal objects give the kitchen a lived-in quality that balances its high level of finish. The result is a working kitchen that remains fully consistent with the elevated tone of the rest of the house.

The walk-in wardrobes are treated as calm, highly ordered extensions of the private suite rather than purely functional spaces. Warm timber cabinetry, precise integrated lighting, and carefully planned storage create an atmosphere of quiet luxury. Clothing is arranged with clarity and intention, while drawers, shoe storage, and a central upholstered seat maintain a refined and uncluttered character. The design allows the dressing rooms to feel like natural continuations of the bedroom, reinforcing the sense of a complete and considered private wing.

The master bathroom is a serene, light-filled retreat finished in soft cream tones and pale stone. A freestanding bath, dual vanity with elegant brass fittings, and a generous marble-lined shower form the principal elements. Classical wall panelling and tall windows maintain architectural continuity with the rest of the house. Folded towels, carefully placed toiletries, candles, and simple floral arrangements introduce warmth and authenticity, ensuring the bathroom feels genuinely inhabited rather than purely decorative. In the evening, soft internal lighting transforms the space into a calm, intimate sanctuary.

Throughout Ivory House, the design remains cohesive. A restrained classical framework, a luminous cream palette, and a consistent emphasis on quality materials and quiet luxury unite every room. The house is designed to feel timeless, serene, and genuinely lived in, a refined classical interior that prioritises atmosphere, proportion, and the quiet pleasure of well-considered spaces.

“Gaby's ability to transform a space is truly amazing. She has a unique talent for creating beautiful, functional spaces that perfectly fit her clients' needs. I would highly recommend Hada Interiors to anyone looking for a top-notch designer.”

Samuel F. - London

“Gaby did a fantastic job designing the complete interior of our 5 BR house and her attention to detail is perfect. We were out of England for most of the time and Gaby basically did it all including managing tradesmen etc etc. We gave her some photos of interiors we liked and a budget and she delivered big style. She organized deliveries and complete set up - hassle free. So much so she is now working on a small holiday Lett we have, refurbing a kitchen, a batroom and general spruce up. We would highly recommend Hada Interiors and Gaby as she really does go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble.”

Dominic C. - Cheshire
